Generally speaking, the reliability of led beads is characterized by half-life (that is, the time when the light output is reduced to half of the initial value). About 10,000 to 100,000 hours between the reliability test of led beads, including electrostatic sensitivity characteristics, life, environmental characteristics and other indicators of the test. The electrostatic sensitivity property refers to the electrostatic discharge voltage that the LED can withstand. General test low power led lamp bead reliability of the detailed items are as follows:
1.1.led bead solder heat resistance: 260℃±5℃, 5Sec, appearance and electrical characteristics are normal.
2.led lamp bead temperature cycle test: 85℃ (30min) -- 5min conversion -- 40℃ (30min) for 1cycle, need to do 50cycle, appearance and electrical characteristics are not abnormal.
3.led bead thermal shock test: 100℃ (5min) -- 10sec -- 10℃ (5min) 1cycle, need to do 50cycle, appearance and electrical characteristics are not abnormal.
4. High temperature storage test of led lamp beads: 1000Hrs in the environment of 100℃, the appearance and electrical characteristics are normal.
5. Low temperature storage test of led lamp beads: 1000Hrs is placed at the temperature of -40℃ environment, with no abnormal appearance and electrical characteristics.
6.led lamp bead high temperature and high humidity placement test: in the temperature of 85℃/ relative humidity 85%RH environment placed 1000Hrs, appearance and electrical characteristics are not abnormal.
7.led bead pin tension test: according to the size of the pin cross-sectional area, apply gravity /30Sec, the pin must not pull off and loose, electrical characteristics are not abnormal.
8.led bead pin bending experiment: according to the size of the pin cross-sectional area of the intensified force, bending ±90 degrees 2 times, the pin must be not broken and loose, electrical characteristics are not different.
9.led lamp bead life test: apply IF current, last 1000Hrs, no led lamp bead and other abnormal electrical characteristics.
Remark: After the environmental and life reliability test, 24Hrs should be placed at 25℃ before testing the electrical characteristics.
